Background
The main objective of proposed consulting activity is to support city of Uzice to create concept of urban and regional transformation and development of cycling infrastructure around cycling corridor ’’Giro di Ciro’’. Proposed activities should support efforts of LSG to conceptualize, and make the technical, environmental, and economic case for climate aware urban development through active mobility infrastructure in its jurisdiction that connects and contributes to the expansion of the ongoing “Giro di Ciro” greenway project. Apart from the local cycle tourists’ network, connecting 30 Points of tourists’ interests, there were formed three city development models limited by isochrones that a cyclist can do for 30, 60, 90 minutes.
For the first time in Serbia there were proposed locations for a city park, pump track, shelter, remote repair services, polo on bicycles fields….
